Goldilocks and the 3 Bears

Pesky neighbor Goldilocks will sneak into the home of Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear just for kicks. The last time she did this, Goldi ate Baby Bear's porridge (which he was actually happy about since he hates porridge), broke his chair, and had a nap in his bed (he was not so keen about this) before she was discovered. Who knows what this neighborhood menace will be up to next?

I love the simplistic Jay Ward / Hanna Barbera mixed feel of these, especially on Goldi. These seem pretty complex with many parts, how long does it take to do these?

Hey Terrell!
Thanks! I had a lot of fun coming up with both designs, which ended up being the easiest part! (Thanks CalArts! :))
Goldi took me about 3 days to finish, but the 3 Bears (which I just finished yesterday right before I posted this) took me almost a week-figuring out how to do the clothing (and have it match up in the back) on the bears was challenging to say the least. I think it was 2 days just to get the clothes cut out, registered, and sewn together. I learn something new each time.

Wow, I love these dolls! Real collectible fun!! You should sell them (or at least take orders) at San Diego comic-con this year!

Thanks Craig!
I'm definitely building up to that point-maybe you'll see me there next year! :) You'll be able to buy Rapunzel, Goldi and the 3 Bears, the Little Match Girl, Jack Frost, and the 3 Billy Goats Gruff on Etsy.com in May. Look for the Crammed Organisms Show page.
