I'm starting work on the second of the wall hangings for the Haunted Mansion show this week. This is my interpretation of my favorite of the Stretching Portraits from the foyer of the ride, in rough sketch and then color. I'm looking forward to working on this one a lot- especially creating the alligator, I found some really great batik prints for his skin. I don't think this one is as complicated as the Hitchhiking Ghosts wall hanging, so hopefully it will take less time to get finished. I will post updates intermittently throughout the process. The show starts at Disneyland on September 9th, 2009.
